We ask all of our visitors to please never forget my close friend USA Marine Sergeant Alan D Sherman of Ocean, NJ.  Alan was killed June 29, 2004, by a massive roadside bomb in Iraq set off by Islamic terrorists.   Alan was a funny, kind, intelligent, patriotic, positive guy.   We shared a fascination with the martial arts and traveled to youth group functions.  I felt at ease eating lunch with Alan everyday in high school.  Alan was well versed in history class,  impersonated Eddie Murphy and was even funnier.  Alan was a real person, with real feelings, he communicated to me he was upset and felt bad when our friend Avi was tragically killed by a vehicle while mowing a lawn.  Alan was courteous, well spoken, cooperative, fun and uplifted others.  Alan loved this country and voluntarily took a risk to defend it.  Alan also served in the Israeli Defense Force.  I'm proud of Alan Sherman, he is a real hero.  He brought a lot of joy while growing up but now he brings tears of great loss.  He is more than just a memory, his spirit lives in many of us.  I  wish time could be turned back just to be able to see Alan again.  We will hang out and be best friends again when I get there.   God bless the soul of Alan Sherman, his mom, dad, brother, X wife and two great children Joshua and Logan.  May the world  remember veterans like Alan who sacrificed his life for us.  May those who burn our American flags be sentenced to the maximum and most severe punishment, God bless the USA and Israel.
